Leon Zuodar: The Year of Squeegee Squirrel – 2027 Calendar

MGLC × Leon Zuodar

To celebrate MGLC’s 40th anniversary, we have created a very special calendar for 2027 in collaboration with artist Leon Zuodar. Each month features an original drawing by the artist, with Viki the Squirrel – a loyal resident of Tivoli Park – taking centre stage. Through humorous scenes, Viki reveals MGLC’s activities and everyday life in the park.

Drawing, printmaking, painting, zines, animation and comics are media that Leon Zuodar has thoroughly mastered. His distinctive style is characterised by directness, an immediate impact and humour, which make his work truly memorable. He is also a professional associate of Twilight Zine, an international zine and art publication fair held as part of the traditional Summer in Tivoli event, which brings together creators from the fields of independent publishing and artistic production.

The calendar is an entirely original project, from the original drawings to the final publication. More than just a tool for keeping track of the days, it is a playful tribute to art, creativity and MGLC’s 40th anniversary.
