Mnemosyne. The Time of Ljubljana’s Biennial of Graphic Arts
The publication presents the history of the Ljubljana Biennial of Graphic Arts, one of Slovenia’s most prominent art events and in this sense a cultural brand. The catalogue highlights the time of the Ljubljana Biennial of Graphic Arts through essays, interviews and analytical texts. The answers to the questions posed were provided by artists, curators, jury members and those who documented the Biennial and noted its history. It includes a list of all Biennial winners, who are represented in the publication with their graphic art works, it shows the important role that RTV Slovenia had to play in establishing the Biennial as one of the most important Slovene art events, and lists the media responses to the first International Exhibition of Graphic Arts.
The catalogue received the 2011 Brumen Award for the best work in the category of Books and Book Collections; designed by Ivian Kan Mujezinović.
