The catalogue of the 16th International Biennial of Graphic Arts, which was on view at the Museum of Modern Art and included works by 536 artists from 55 countries. The works were evaluated by a six-member international jury.

The main biennial exhibition, the personal retrospectives of the award-winners and the accompanying exhibitions were designed by Živa Škodlar-Vujić and Zoran Kržišnik. The personal retrospectives of the first five award-winners of the previous edition (Eduardo Paolozzi, Shusaku Arakawa, Miroslav Šutej, Maria Bonomi, Joan Miró) were mounted and the accompanying texts published in the catalogue. The main event was accompanied by the exhibitions of the works of Joan Miró and Jasper Johns.

The catalogue is lavishly illustrated in black and white and includes a few colour reproductions of the exhibited works. Jože Brumen designed the print matter and typographically edited the catalogue.
