Alan Hranitelj, Costume Design 1986–2006

The monograph on Alan Hranitelj was produced to accompany the exhibition My Stories are Living, which included 86 costumes from a twenty year period of Hranitelj’s extensive creative process. It presented the original as well adapted theatre, opera, film costumes, dress objects, occasion wear and fashion accessories. The exhibition was curated by Alan Hranitelj and Mirjam Behek. The monograph features the photographic documentation of Hranitelj’s creations, his portrait by Desa Muck, interview by Nela Malečkar and text by Jure Mikuž, The Garment as a Work of Art, offering extensive documentation on the costume design by Alan Hranitelj from 1986 to 2006. The catalogue received an award from the Brumen Foundation in the category of Catalogues and Monographs; designed by Boris Balant, Luks Studio.
