Notice

We would like to inform you that, as of 22 August 2025, the dispatch of goods to recipients in the USA will be temporarily suspended. This applies to both goods letters and parcels, regardless of the value of the items.
The temporary suspension of acceptance of such consignments is due to changes in US customs and tariff regulations, which, from 29 August 2025, abolish the de minimis rule.
Thank you for your understanding.

The catalogue to the exhibition Systems and Patterns, which presents contemporary art from the Middle East, contains an introductory text by Nevenka Šivavec, who explains that the idea for the exhibition arose from the extensive research on the history of the Ljubljana Biennial of Graphic Arts, and the text The Orient is Everywhere, which addresses the issues of preconceived ideas and dilemmas of universalism. The publication also includes a presentation of exhibiting artists with colour reproductions of works, photographs of the exhibition set-up, as well as the text by curator, critic and great connoisseur of the Middle East, Nat Muller, entitled Defying Definition: Contemporary Art and Cultural Practice in the Middle East. The exhibition was curated by Nevenka Šivavec.
