Prints
Since MGLC was founded, the ground floor of the building has been home to the Print Studio, which has hosted both local and international artists since the late 1980s. In the early years, studio production focused primarily on creating new works in screenprinting, etching, aquatint and lithography, mainly by the established artists of what was loosely coined as the Ljubljana school of graphic arts. In lesser scope, the works of the Slovenian modernists have been reprinted from their original plates. Around ten artists per year now work in the MGLC Print Studio. This is exactly where the prints before you have been produced.
Publications
MGLC has been active in publishing since its first exhibition in 1989. It publishes a variety of publications, catalogues, monographs and brochures to accompany solo, group and touring exhibitions as part of the MGLC programme.
