Brina Trio is a smaller version of the larger Brina group, founded in 2003 by Brina Vogelnik, who released four albums with the group: Mlado leto (2004), Pasja legenda (2006), Slečena koža (2011), To je to! (2022). They were all released by Druga godba's DruGod label.

Brina Vogelnik is a singer, songwriter, puppeteer and graphic designer. Her breakthrough on stage began with her participation in dance performances with masks and puppets. In addition to the band, Brina is also involved in other projects and groups, collaborates with various musicians and occasionally writes music for puppet shows at the Puppet Theatre in Ljubljana and Maribor. Brina's albums have made a strong mark on the world music map and have received excellent reviews in fRoots, Songlines and World Music Magazine. The track Poljanska balada from the album Pasja legenda was nominated for the BBC World Service Song of the Year in 2006.

Luka Ropret is a guitarist, instrumentalist, composer, music teacher and puppet animator. He plays various instruments, especially classical guitar, which he is currently studying in Klagenfurt. In addition to teaching guitar, he plays in various musical formations of different genres, in theatre and dance performances, and composes music for theatre and film.

Blaž Celarec is a percussionist, producer and composer, occasionally also a Latin American percussion teacher and clarinettist. His current work includes playing in bands, performing in theatre and dance, and composing music for theatre and film.
