7 p.m.–8 p.m.
Leon Matek
The concert was planned to take place in the Plečnik Auditorium, but due to the weather it was moved to the MGLC Švicarija.
Singer-songwriter Leon Matek appeared on the Slovenian music scene in the late 1980s with the rock band Prepozno za krokodile. He continued his career in a duo with Mirko Sešek and later with Juhej and Vuhmepiš, followed by a three-year stint in the duo LeonzMinko with Bosnian accordionist Hazemina Đonlić.
In 2007, he embarked on a solo career with the album Zrno and continued with the 2011 album Most, on which he played the oriental instrument bağlama or saz alongside the guitar. His last album Srce imaš tako veliko was released at the end of 2018. "It is a manifesto of Leon Matek's extraordinary maturation and one of the strongest singer-songwriter albums released in Slovenia in recent years," wrote Rockline.si.
At the concert in Tivoli Park, Leon Matek will perform with percussionist Adi Blaževič.
In the case of bad weather, please follow the MGLC social networks for possible cancellation of events.
The MGLC Summer in Tivoli festival is co-funded by Ljubljana Tourism.
