Dora Tomori

Dora Tomori is a young singer-songwriter from Slovenia, who explores her inner topography and her surroundings through her music. She ventures into the themes of loneliness, freedom and love in the new age of normality. Her genre has evolved from intimate bedroom pop to soft indie, from which she draws the minimalist aesthetic and soulful atmosphere. Her songs could be reminiscent of the works of songwriters such as Phoebe Bridgers, Imogen Heap and Lizzy McAlpine. In December 2022, she released her first single, "New Religion", which is the first step towards the release of her debut album, "Where No Heartbreak Has Gone" in April 2023. The track combines every quarantine mood with a touch of monumental heartbreak, heavily inspired by the weather and in a great emotional outpour. Dora Tomori has been performing her own material since 2021. She has played on many intimate stages across Slovenia and has put down roots in the capital Ljubljana and its alternative cultural centre Metelkova. She now also performs abroad, at various festivals. Her performances have evolved into two variants: an intimate duet performance and a stronger performance with a full band, suitable for larger stages.
