Drago Hrvacki – Educator
The accompanying opening programme highlights Drago Hrvacki's work as an artist, educator and mentor.
The day begins with the professional conference Potentials of Collaboration 2026, organised by Kulturni bazar at Cankarjev dom (8.30–11.00). The programme presents current national projects in arts and cultural education, including ESS+ KUV initiatives, regional cultural education centres, the School in Culture programme and the travelling exhibition Kulturopot.
From 11.30 to 13.30, the programme continues at Grad Tivoli and Švicarija with events dedicated to Hrvacki's artistic practice:
- a lecture by curator Božidar Zrinski on the role of drawing in Hrvacki's oeuvre;
- a guided tour of the exhibition Drago Hrvacki: A Space of Order and Quiet Retreat;
- a screen-printing demonstration in the MGLC Print Studio, presented by master printer Jakob Puh.
From 15.00 to 16.30, the programme concludes at the Pionirski dom Art Centre with the opening of an exhibition of children's artworks and a presentation of Drago Hrvacki's pedagogical work and his role as an art mentor, introduced by Lili Šturm. The event concludes with a collaborative printmaking workshop led by art educators Rosalie Arnšek and Satya Holc.
The exhibition and accompanying programme were prepared by Lili Šturm and Božidar Zrinski in collaboration with the Pionirski dom Art Centre.
The exhibition of children's artworks will be on view at the Pionirski dom Art Centre, Komenskega 9, Ljubljana, and can be visited free of charge on weekdays from 10.00 to 18.00.
