Call for participation in an international event: ITK 2026 – International Triennale for Kids

MGLC – the International Centre of Graphic Arts is participating in the ITK 2026 event. On this occasion, it is organising an experimental printmaking workshop accepting five young people aged 9 to 13. The works produced will be sent to the Funen Printmaking Centre in Odense, Denmark, where they will be shown in an exhibition in August 2026. The best works will also be awarded prizes by an international jury.

The workshop will take place on Saturday, 18 April, from 11.00 to 16.00 in the MGLC Print Studio. Applications are open until all places are filled and should be sent to  lili.sturm@mglc-lj.si. Please include a short letter of motivation outlining the motif you intend to use in the workshop, together with a rough sketch. The starting point is the fairy tales of Hans Christian Andersen.

The workshop is led by Katarina Marov, visual artist, unique object designer and printmaker.

The event is organised by Fyns Grafiske Værksted / Funen Printmaking, Odense, Denmark.

The workshop is free of charge; participants are only required to pay the registration fee (€10).
