Sicoe – PUNK CUBIST, premiere of the documentary film

The documentary film Sicoe – PUNK CUBIST is a portrait of painter and printmaker Silvester Plotajs Sicoe, a resident artist at MGLC Švicarija, who found himself on the brink of losing his identity. This is the story of an artist whose life briefly showed him what it might be like without the one thing that defines and gives meaning to it – painting. Due to serious problems with his eyesight, Sicoe was confronted with the terrifying possibility that he might never paint again. After a series of demanding operations, he nevertheless returned to the canvas and began his second painting career – not as a continuation of the past, but as a completely new beginning. Visitors will also be able to see the large-scale Polyphemus Diptych created by Silvester Plotajs Sicoe for the vertical space of Švicarija.
