Master woodcut printmaking workshop using the CMYK technique, Led by Oliver Pilić

The workshop demonstrates the CMYK printing process – a colour printing model based on cyan, magenta, yellow and black. The same process has also been used by the artist in some of his works in the exhibition. At the workshop, the woodcut technique will be used to demonstrate how a certain colour image is produced in printing. Participants are introduced to the woodcut technique by manually preparing the matrix and producing their own prints using the mechanical principle of the printing process.

The workshop is intended for artists, master printmakers and senior art school students; a maximum of seven participants can be accepted. Advance bookings, along with a short description of prior experience, should be sent to lili.sturm@mglc-lj.si.
