From the Land's Living Pulse: screening and Q&A with Noor Abed

Event as part of the Opening Days of the 36th Ljubljana Biennale of Graphic Arts (June 3–8)

Noor Abed, interdisciplinary artist, filmmaker and one of the artists of the 36th Ljubljana Biennale of Graphic Arts, presents her films A Night We Held Between (2024) and our songs were ready for all wars come (2021). The screening will be followed by a conversation between Noor Abed and Angelina Radaković (The Mosaic Rooms, London), curator of the Museum of Modern Art’s cinema season, who will guide us through themes of water, myth, ritual, and resistance as envisioned by women filmmakers from the Middle East.
