MGLC ŠVICARIJA: OPEN CALL FOR CRITIC-IN-RESIDENCE PROGRAMME 2026

The International Centre of Graphic Arts, the Igor Zabel Association for Culture and Theory and this year the Moderna galerija Ljubljana invite art historians, art critics and cultural journalists from international milieu to apply for a fully funded, one-month residency in Ljubljana during October 2026 at MGLC Švicarija. 

We invite art writers to reflect on the role of art institutions in difficult – or even crisis – socio-political conditions. 

Deadline for applications: 28 February 2026

The period of the residency: 1–31 October 2026
