Plečnik Auditorium
The Plečnik Auditorium is an open-air venue for cultural events and social gatherings, situated in a tranquil part of Tivoli Park. In a clearing behind Tivoli Mansion, the City of Ljubljana restored the remains of the former summer theatre with its auditorium, which was arranged in 1933 according to Greek models by architect Jože Plečnik. With this renovation, the city gained a pleasant public space along the forest edge, which was given a new lease of life in 2023 under the programme direction of the International Centre of Graphic Arts. The auditorium is a popular venue for concerts, shows and performing arts. It also hosts the MGLC Summer in Tivoli festival, as well as certain key events of the Ljubljana Biennale of Graphic Arts. Due to its openness and location in green surroundings, it supports more intimate cultural content and relaxed social gatherings in nature.
