IBA Stage: 35th Ljubljana Biennale of Graphic Arts

IBA (International Biennial Association) Stage is hosting Ibrahim Mahama to present his vision for From the void came gifts of the cosmos, the 35th Ljubljana Biennale of Graphic Arts which opened on September 15^th 2023 and ran until January 14^th 2024. His project, developed in conjunction with the curatorial team, reflected on anti-colonial / anti-imperial struggles by placing a focus on built environment, infrastructural traces and material legacy exposing the deep history of nationalisms which is still very much present in all corners of the world.

Joining him will be curators of the Ljubljana Biennale, Kwasi Ohene-Ayeh from the Exit Frame Collective and Inga Lace, C-MAP Central and Eastern Europe Fellow at MoMA, New York, together with Nevenka Šivavec, Director of International Centre of Graphic Arts (Ljubljana) and IBA Board Member.
