Arlo Zaria, concert

Arlo Zaria is a singer-songwriter from the Tolmin area. Her genre is somewhere between indie and folk music, and she spices up the mixture with intimate lyrics that reflect the lives of young people.

Bakalina Velika, concert

First, there was Bakalina, delivering contemporary melodies and socially critical lyrics in the Čadrg dialect of the Tolmin region, from prominent concert venues to the most secluded rural villages. With each concert and album, Bakalina grew and became Velika Bakalina. Their music truly shines in the direct exchange between the musicians and their audience.

Zmago Jeraj, I Take a Long Step Across a Windowsill

The exhibition presents selected paintings, photographs and prints from the early mature phase of Jeraj’s oeuvre, from the late 1960s and 1970s. A particularity of the exhibition is its innovative set-up, which attempts to bring the two-dimensionality of the artist’s works into a three-dimensional space through unconventional lighting and authentic furniture from the 1960s.

Punctum, Unusual Art Autobiographies 

The personal narratives of the artists and artistic movements represented in the exhibition have been subject to constant change. Personal and social circumstances gave rise to a particular autofiction, a constant fusion of autobiographical and imaginative elements. Although the selection of works shows intimate life stories or decisions, their message is universal.
